A novel integrated connector assembly comprises a socket connector and a plug connector.
The socket connector includes a base and multiple first conductive terminals. The base consists of a base portion and an insertion portion, with a reinforcing boss formed between them. Multiple insertion holes are provided on the base portion, and the first conductive terminals—each having a tubular structure—are fitted along the inner walls of the insertion holes. Each first conductive terminal is composed of multiple sections of metal tubes connected together, with adjacent metal tubes integrally joined by an oblique-walled annular section.
The plug connector includes a substrate, a receiving portion, and multiple second conductive terminals. The receiving portion defines an insertion space, and the second conductive terminals extend through the substrate into this insertion space.
Through this design, by configuring each first conductive terminal as a combination of multiple metal tubes joined by oblique-walled annular sections, the overall outer diameter of the terminal is reduced, thereby decreasing the overall size of the socket connector. This structure facilitates manufacturing and helps lower production costs.
