A heavy-duty connector assembly structure comprises a plug connector and a socket connector. The plug connector includes a base and an insertion portion. An insertion space is formed within the insertion portion, in which insertion terminals are arranged. First grounding spring pieces are provided at both ends of the insertion portion, and multiple anti-misplug recesses are vertically arranged on the outer wall of the insertion portion.

The socket connector includes a base and an insertion end that matches the insertion space of the plug connector. Multiple insertion holes are formed on the insertion end, each accommodating a metal tube. A gap is provided between the upper edge of each metal tube and the upper rim of the corresponding insertion hole. Second grounding spring pieces are arranged on both sides of the insertion end, and multiple anti-misplug protrusions are vertically provided on the outer wall of the insertion end.

Through this design, the anti-misplug protrusions on the socket connector cooperate with the anti-misplug recesses on the plug connector to prevent incorrect insertion and thereby improve the accuracy and reliability of the connection.
