A structurally reinforced connector with a cover includes a base, multiple conductive terminals, multiple locking screws, and a cover pivotally connected to the base. The base is internally divided into several accommodating slots, each provided with two insertion grooves and a first screw hole positioned between the grooves. Pivot holes and latch slots are respectively arranged on both sides of each accommodating space.
The multiple conductive terminals are mounted in the accommodating slots. Each conductive terminal comprises a contact portion, a holding portion, and a soldering leg portion, which are arranged in an “n”-shaped configuration. A second screw hole is formed on the contact portion and corresponds to the first screw hole. The holding portion and the soldering leg portion are respectively inserted into the two insertion grooves. The locking screws are fastened through the first and second screw holes.
The cover is pivotally connected to the base. Through the use of a hinge structure and a latch mechanism between the base and the cover, the cover can be flexibly opened, closed, and locked, thereby improving the convenience of assembly and disassembly of the connector.
