An automotive floating multi-socket connector comprises an upper socket and a lower socket.

The upper socket includes an upper insulating body and multiple upper conductive terminals. The upper insulating body consists of a base plate and an insertion end. The upper conductive terminals are bent and attached along both sidewalls of the insertion end. Anti-misplug protrusions are provided on both sides of the lower end of the upper insulating body.

The lower socket includes a lower insulating body and multiple lower conductive terminals. The lower insulating body is provided with a wedge-shaped insertion slot, and the lower conductive terminals are bent and recessed along both sidewalls of the insertion slot. Anti-misplug recesses are formed on both sides of the upper end of the lower insulating body.

During connection, the insertion end of the upper socket is inserted into the insertion slot of the lower socket, allowing the upper and lower conductive terminals to make elastic contact, while the anti-misplug protrusions engage with the corresponding recesses.

Through this design, by configuring both the insertion end and the insertion slot in a wedge shape and utilizing the elasticity of the lower conductive terminals, the upper and lower sockets achieve a floating contact connection, thereby improving the overall connection stability.
